Body Attack - new fall 2010

New fall 2010

Body Attack is a sports-inspired cardio workout class that builds strength and stamina. Athletic and aerobic moves are set to motivating music that will inspire you to reach your fitness goals. New to group fitness or an old pro? Don't worry- this class has options for participants at every fitness level. Participants should wear clothing that allows for easy movement and supportive tennis shoes and should also bring a water bottle and a towel.

Tumbling

New summer 2010

Students will learn acrobatic tricks as well as work to improve strength, balance and flexibility.

Petite/Allegro

Petite/allegro works on the fundamentals of very fast and quick ballet combinations. This level 3 and up class will work the dancer in sharpening their ballet skills and technique, making them a much stronger dancer.

Ballet Technique

Ballet technique is intended for dancers level 4 and up. In this class we will be doing barre work as well as center work. A concentrated effort will be made on correcting placement which will give the dancers knowledge of proper technique in all ballet movements.

Contemporary

Contemporary- Is taking what has been learned in dancers level classes ie ballet and jazz and putting stylistic elements to it to make it their own. Contemporary also teaches dancers how to feel the music and extend from counts to the feeling. Also incorporates all technique and extend that knowledge.
