Our Jr. Company and one soloist performed over the weekend, Thursday and Saturday, April 2nd and 4th at a local dance competition, Talent on Parade. It was held at Hy-Vee Hall, Hall B in downtown Des Moines. Our Jr. Company soloist, Caitlin Thompson, age 10, performed her "Dancin' Machine" routine to high praise. She received a first place trophy. On Saturday, the Jr. Company team performed. Their musical theater number, "A Day for the Cat in the Hat" as well as their tap routine, "Trashin' the Camp", both received a TOP first place trophy and blue ribbon.
