Absences
Absences: In order to obtain the greatest benefit from classes, you must be present! Technical skills can be developed to the fullest if you are consistently in the classroom. Missed classes can result in missed choreography and will negatively affect your performance, but perfect attendance will ensure the best performance possible. As with any other sport, dance requires commitment!
A phone call or email is very much appreciated if a dancer is not going to be in class. This would be considered an excused absence.
Unexcused absences happen when no communication occurs between the parent/dancer and the front desk/instructor. Three unexcused absences and the dancer will have a meeting with Jeanne. Any questions about this policy, please ask the front desk.
