Happy Monday, everyone! While this white stuff was fun for a bit, I am so ready for some warm weather! My kids are keeping their eye on the pool - what a wait that will be. Here are some things for everyone to be aware of.

- WINTER WEATHER POLICY: When classes are canceled due to weather, students are allowed to make up the classes missed in any class they wish. We will post any cancellations on our website as well as send a studio email. Please check the website and your email before calling the studio. If you do not see a cancellation listed, classes will be held as normal.

- All three company groups participated in Symposium dance competition over the weekend. Awesome job!!! Sr Company took 1st place. Jr Company 1 took 1st place. Jr Company 2 took a 1st place and a 2nd place! WOW!!!!!!! Their next competition is the end of February. We'd love to have you come out and support the teams.

- REMINDER: Tuition is due on the first of every month. Late fees will be posted Thursday, February 11th to all accounts with outstanding tuition amounts. Please remember to pay your account on time.

- Observation weeks are coming up. February 15 - 21: Jeanne, Jenna, and Alex. February 22 - 28: Jill, Jessie Jo, Mistie, and Monika. Bring your cameras and watch your dancers go!

- Spring Break: March 15-21. There will NOT be classes this week.

- Production picture date is April 24th. The schedule is being worked on and will be posted on the information board in the studio and on the website.

- Parent helper lists for production will be posted shortly. Not all production classes will need a helper and some may need two helpers. The parent helper(s) will be backstage to help any dancer in the class get ready to go onstage. This may be helping get a costume on or just hanging out with the class. This can be such a special thing for a parent to help with. Please consider volunteering in this way to make production run more smoothly. There will be seats saved for these individuals to watch the class dance.

- Dress rehearsal for production: May 21st and 22nd. This is a Friday and Saturday. The schedule is being worked on and will be posted on the information board and the website. Each dancer is expected to be at rehearsal.

- Production: May 23rd. There will be 3 shows again this year. Please watch the information board and website closer to date for the schedule.

- Father/Daughter Dance: JDA will be hosting a father/daughter dance open to the public. The date is May 3rd. Watch for more information.
