Our Jr. Company and one soloist performed over the weekend, Thursday and Saturday, April 2nd and 4th at a local dance competition, Talent on Parade. It was held at Hy-Vee Hall, Hall B in downtown Des Moines. Our Jr. Company soloist, Caitlin Thompson, age 10, performed her "Dancin' Machine" routine to high praise. She received a first place trophy. On Saturday, the Jr. Company team performed. Their musical theater number, "A Day for the Cat in the Hat" as well as their tap routine, "Trashin' the Camp", both received a TOP first place trophy and blue ribbon. They also received a special judge's award, "Too Cute" for their musical theater piece.

The Jr. Company consists of Karly Cook, age 11; Jill Connolly, age 12; Sarah Henry, age 11; Johanna Miller, age 11, Kaitlyn Sergio, age 12 and Caitlin Thompson, age 10. These young ladies love to dance and perform. They rehearse year round, learning choreography over the summer for their competition routines. We are very proud of them and all they've accomplished since they have first starting dancing, performing and competing together.
